How to Drink & Store
How to Drink
After the broth has finished cooking, strain it and bring the broth back to a full boil.
While the broth is still boiling hot, carefully pour it into clean, heat-safe glass jars. Close and seal the lids immediately.
Leave the sealed jars undisturbed until they have cooled down. Once cooled, place the jars in the refrigerator for storage. Keep the broth refrigerated; sealing the jars this way does not make the broth shelf-stable.
When ready to drink, remove one jar from the refrigerator and pour the broth into a pot. Bring it to a boil or warm it thoroughly before drinking.
Drink approximately 16 oz. at a time, preferably in the morning or afternoon. If a layer of fat forms on top after refrigeration, skim off the excess fat before reheating if desired.
